Looks very big, but also looks very messy / poorly formed and slow. Doesn't actually look like a very good wave. A smaller well formed wave that moves well would score better points than this don't you think?

if you think that the Cribbar is rare to break, i have still yet to get more than a photo of Zorbas, Zorbas is a very rare wave indeed !
-
It's far from the biggest wave in the world, in fact since Aileen's and Zorbas reef came around it may not even be the biggest in the UK+Ireland any more. That and it's not as consistent as other waves (only works for a few days a year.)
-
if this is the biggest wave in the world then why don't they have comps here?

image google search "Cribbar" and make your own judgement

deadly id like to know some stuff about the cribbar if you would'nt mind. Im a midlands booger but always wondered about some facts about this break.
Anyway, how big does this beast normally break at and is it a tight group that go out to surf it? or just a random bunch with a few friends here n there

it can apparently hold 12ft+ swell, some pictures i've seen are in the region of 30ft+ face - i think if you just went out you'd be fine, there are a few different groups of people that seen to always surf it what its on but also plenty of others - it is very dangerous though and its a very long rippy paddle out though and a long paddle back in - ROCK ROCKS ROCKS lol
