This video comes from LeadingToWar.com, a website that provides a well-documented examination of the Bush administration's pre-war claims.

See more clips like this -- and watch the U.S. government's blueprint for war unfold, as told by the architects themselves.

Even if you watched the news at the time, you'll be surprised.

  • The day our freedom was ripped away.

  • @connorarmstrong12 Do you even know what the Patriot Act does? Where the government goes and has the authority to wire tap you, read your mail and e-mail and listen to your conversations. It's an invasion of privacy and unconstitutional. Where were we when Stalin, Mao, Kim Jong killed millions of their own people? We didn't interfere with them but we interfered with Saddam? He committed no aggression and was not a real threat to begin with. We're not the World Police anyway.

  • @connorarmstrong12 There is no freedom left. If there is, Why are protesters being beaten in the streets? Why are children and old people being searched at airports? Why is there TSA at bus stops, train stations and highways? You, the people, are letting the gov't get away with this, and if it goes farther, the terrorists win. Your living in fear, we are the home of the brave, not home of the cowards.

  • Really? You think he should be tried for treason for signing the Patriot Act and I'M the one drinking too much fluoride? Oh and I guess since Saddam was once our friend we should have just let him continue committing genocide in Iraq. Terrific logic in your point. He wasn't involved in 9/11, but he was a terrorist and a huge threat to our nation. Everything is 20/20 in hindsight, but history will show that Bush was a good President. By no means perfect, but good nonetheless.

  • @connorarmstrong12 You're either being paid to say such nonsense or you've been drinking too much fluoride in your drinking water. I don't believe this Republican vs. Democrat bullshit. They are both corrupt parties and there are very few good politicians out there. Aside from saying incredibly stupid shit, Bush should have been tried for treason by signing the Patriot Act. Yeah he captured Saddam who used to be our friend by the way, also he was not involved in 9/11.

  • @NickBFilms Do you live in America? If you do, and you're actually complaining about freedom, why don't you leave, go live in Iraq for a few years. Stick it to the man! Because frankly, America doesn't need any more of you pussies: always complaining but not doing anything to improve your situation.

  • @Yabuturtle He's such a moron! Didn't allow a single act of terror on US soil following 9/11 for the remaining 7.5 years of his Presidency... Stabilized Afghanistan's government and drove out Al Qaida (until the Dems started removing troops)... Captured Saddam Hussein... Oh wait, he wasn't a moron at all. You clearly watched enough liberal media to be effectively brainwashed, though.

  • @thetimnewb I feel really bad for you

  • I was told that in a prison riot once. What would you do?
