After my laptop crashing and losing all my data, I decided to buy an External HDD. This was the cheapest in the stores at the time, about $121 AUD.

  • hi pcgeek15 i have a big question so i have a WD as well and just like yours. but i have a problem with the power adapter, well really i dont know if its the power adapter. but for some odd reason the EHD is not turning on and nether is the power cord box. if i plug the power cord box to the outlet the little green light will go on and just turn off and thats with out being plugged into the EHD can you let me know if your power cord box light is on when not plugged to EHD. thanks so much :)

  • @eder209 You might have an issue with the actual hard drive if the power pack works before you plug it in.

  • i just got a 400gb :D

  • Nice

  • hey dude. a question....How's the heat? Does it gets very hot? Does it works fine? Is it fast? it is not too heavy, right?

  • It's a great HDD, bit heavy due to metal casing with rubber stoppers and it does shorta get hot.
