Lesson about operating Denon DN-HS5500 and similar Denon models, to get:

1. Looping:
Two ways to do this:
a. By HOT STARTS/SEAMLESS LOOPING section (to the rigth of unit's display)
b. By ECHO/LOOP effect feature, which allows you to get autoloop based on BPM of the track!

2. HOT START points (also called HOT CUE points)

3. "Brake" effect (that will emulate stopping analog turntable, by turning off the power on analog turntable).

And bit of mix!

  • okey bro, what can you say about denon dns 3700?

  • I can say much, but I have no time for this ;) . I don't know your DJ preferences... But... for me I would not buy Denon DJ gear anymore. Pioneer is pro. PRO, but expensive. But PRO. And Denon... - visit denondjforums com and read.

  • hi, did you play the background music on the same cd player? you mean you can play 2 songs in one player? thank you

  • kickshield:

Hi Bro! Check out some info about Denon DN-HS5500 - it can work as dual player - with two decks in one, just by switching active deck.

See video from AGI PRO DJ or see my other videos with mix by using this player.

  • does new update filmware fix all your cons in Denon 5500? darm, i bought a pair of Denon 5500

  • No. All problems mentioned by my are still in this player, despite new firmware. I heard, that Denon already discontinued DN-HS5500. I wish you will be satisfied with this unit and you will find no problem... But for me, gear from Pioneer is lot more stable and this is important for me, because I wanna be sure of tool I'm using.
