holy shit he lost a lot of weight

i think spielberg is better but they're both great directors but i think spielberg has done more great films in the past maybe not now...
-
i love both directors ... both of them down to earth ....

He isn't self-centered. It comes out that way (i wasn't the one who said that) I think he is a very intuitive and humble man yet he is reassured and forth-going with creative ideas. He's just a little more talkative. Which really surprised me. I thought Peter Jackson would be that one, but he is more modest and contemplative (not saying Cameron isn't either of those... but he' probably a little less modest which is by no means self-centered)

I agree with Peter Jackson. Story matters more.

That's rude.

I think one person accused Cameron of being self-centered in one of the previous videos. Fail! Just look at how he praises Peter in this video.

Oh for sure.
fifty years from now, when college students are sitting in their film studies courses or are being lectured in a film school, they will be learning about guys like Jackson, Cameron, (young) Lucas, Zemeckis, and Spielberg. These are guys who use technology to the tell the story and never let it overpower the story or characters.
guys like Bay and Sohmers are going ot be forgotten because their films don't have any way of standing the test of time.

You asked: "Why do people act like technology and quality story can't go hand in hand?" I answered; because of hack directors like said M. Bay and the Mummy director. And then I said J.C and P.J are in a league of their own. Re-read my post please..
Why do people act like technology and quality story can't go hand in hand? James provides characters that the audience actually cares about. And Peter Jackson has always said again and again that at the end of the day no matter what CGI or special effect are used, it's about story and character.

It's always about story and character (or so they say) but of course when you have films like "Transformers" and "G.I Joe" coming out, it kinda destroys your point. But I do agree with Cameron' and Jackson, but they're in a class of their own. Can't rely compare them to Michael Bay or the hack from the Mummy movies..:p
