My father, John W. Robinson, Jr., died suddenly over the weekend of January 29th, 2011. Here is the slideshow that was played on the day of his wake. Thanks so much to the family for helping me with the pictures. The music is "The Long Day is Over" by Dad's favorite artist, Norah Jones. The last time I saw him was in May 2010, when we attended a Norah Jones concert in Mobile. He got tickets for us very far in advance and told everyone that he "just hoped he lived long enough" to be able to attend the concert. He had been sick with lung and heart problems for some time. His children, grandchildren, sisters, extended family, and friends will sorely miss him.
