Our wedding, shot on Super 8mm Kodak cinefilm in 1974, Home brew telecine capture on PC, using modified Elmo super 8mm projector with enlarged gate to reveal 20% more picture. Shutter and original lens removed, replaced with 25mm Bolex camera lens + IR filter and Creative Live Ultra CCD webcam USB 2.0 [bit noisy!], Controllable light source - White LumiLed, Mouse switched by projector for frame by frame capture at 9fps. Post correction - Premiere Pro + Cineon plugin.
Still in Love after 34 years.

  • @pde385e Yes it is

  • Just watched this again one year later and I have to say this is one of the best amateur home movies on YT. Show us what you both look like now! Go on be a sport:o)

  • @airscrew1 I found this video clip of me messing about with a philips toucam in 2005, the first camera i tried for my telecine machine. No harm was done to any of the participants in the video - LOL

  • @isometric85 Thx for kind comment. Yep, it looks quite good on a 32" LCD TV IMHO especially my clip [ Super 8 mm Wedding Film 1974 - Raw Telecine processed with Avisynth ]

  • @cineprojectorman this is quite a good quality for 8mm can you blow this up in tv and still see good results? i like to shoot something if i get a 8mm camera

  • some quality footage there.

  • What's the name of the organ piece playing at the beginning of the film?

  • This is outstanding. I mean, both video and wedding. Good luck to you.

  • @thedomonator

No. The area reserved for the sound track is used for image. Hence the "super". That wold be my understanding anyway.

  • And then after the honeymoon you both went to watch the new release of Monty python and the holy grail right? =D

Great video, I just got a 8mm camera and I am buying film for it to record my holiday in 2 months time. =)
