The solution is education. The world is not flat, the sun doesn't orbit the Earth, and humans were not created by the god of desert-dwelling Jewish nomads. If you want to start arguing metaphysics and epistemics, that's perfectly fine. However, well-established scientific facts, such as Relativity and Evolution, have not only withstood intensive scientific scrutiny, but continue to be reinforced by new evidence with each passing year. "Belief" is not the same as KNOWLEDGE.

"tyrannosaurus rex was never anywhere near the largest carnivorous animal." It might not have been THE biggest, but it was certainly one of the biggest.

@DeadButBreathing The latest palentological studies suggest that T-rex was not a predator, but it still was a carnivore. Its body is much better adapted to scavenging than to predation, but its carnivorous adaptations like big, bone crushing madibles, sharp, searing teath, etc suggest a meat diet. It also lacks the massive belly and long intestines required to digest the coarse plants of its period.
-
@DiscoveringReligion Exactly. It could eat a buffalo in like 4 to 6 bites.
-
There's been recent evidence that the T-rex might've been a herbivore actually, or at least an omnivore, as they realized that it's posture and claws and teeth were not as suitable for hunting as they thought.

The saddest thing I have ever read in years was from a book mark that read: God said it, I believe it and that settles it.
As my uncle used to say "Au le culo"

@Rollingcomet Can you define, using the science of biology, what you mean by "genetic information" and "complexity?"
-
@DiscoveringReligion Thank you for you time and effort in preparing this video series. I have a constructive criticism. I recommend that you refrain from making judgments about content based on superficial spelling and grammar errors (as much as I myself hate such errors). If such an approach were valid, your own comments and videos would have to be summarily dismissed as invalid. Case in point, "...stupidest thing's I ever read."
-
I almost wish you would write an annotated Bible so that I could be fed little bits in information about scriptures formation and other such observations that you make in you videos while I read the Bible. I could not only tell theists I read the Bible but I would also have much more insight in the facts about the Bible's writing than they would.

Don't get me wrong I like your videos so far and agree with most of what you are saying. But reading some of these comments, you make it sound like people are less intelligent then yourself because they don't agree with you.
If you are a extremely organized person as you say, why do all your videos have to be edited after they have already been released? I have a problem with people who talk down to people for spelling and grammatical errors, that can't even correctly edit a video before they release it. Maybe instead of calling people names and assuming they are stupid, you should take a different approach.

@cstyle3435
Have you seen ALL my videos? They don't ALL have to be reedited. In episode 4 I made a couple mistakes calling aquatic reptiles "dinosaurs", but that's much different than making gross mischaracterizations about scientific facts. Note that I said his STATEMENT was stupid, not him. Just because I call people on their bullshit doesn't make me arrogant. Anyone who claims "evolution isn't true b/c we don't see it happening" knows exactly what they are doing, and I'll call them on it.

Bless you, you clearly do not understand scripture. Evidence is exactly the same for interpretating a young earth, or one of billions of years as, required to blindly accept evolution. Evolution is not fact since it cannot be seen to happen in real time. In fact what we do see is quite the opposite taking place - there is a net loss of genetic information. Evolution can not explain the origins of information contained within DNA. Even the simplist cell, a parisite, has incredible complexity.

Post your comments in reply to mine. It really drives me nuts when people do this!! I am going to delete your posts because it's making my comments section completely disorganized. Please watch this video I made on how to properly post comments: watch?v=i9V7xMdgIQk
I know much about genetics and biochemistry, I study medicine. I also know much about religion, that's the whole point of creating this series. Take some time to watch my episodes. I've worked very hard on this series.

@DiscoveringReligion Sorry about not using the reply. Although I have used You Tube, I very rarely (If ever) make comments, and so I am beginning to familiarise myself with the system. And yes, spelling and grammar are important as you mention in your video. My first post was made using my mobile - not sure if there's a spellchecker on that, but I will investigate. It's a shame that you deleted my comments, but hope that you read them first. I used multiple comments because of the limitations..

@Rollingcomet
Yes, I did read your comments before I deleted them, and I am sorry I had to do so, because I do not censor comments on this channel. However, I am an extremely organized person and I cannot stand to have a comments posted in reverse order. Feel free to reply again if you wish. However, I strongly recommend you watch my series. I have discussed many topics about religion and evolution at great length, therefore it's redundant for me to repeat all of this in the comments section.
