  • lol "Its called the XL1 'cause its a 1 litre vehicle - the engine is 1 litre". Dudes!, get your facts straight. The L1 actually refers to the fuel consumption - meaning 1 litre per 100 kilometres (perhaps you remember the Lupo 3L... try and guess the fuel consumption on that).

This car actually has 2 sources of power: a 800cc/0.8 litre 2 cylinder diesel engine (48bhp) and a electronic motor (27bhp) giving a total of 75 bhp. Weighing 800kg (or approx 1600 pounds).

  • Called "Gull Wing Doors"

  • @acewings221

heard it will cost about 45.000, in two years in the store

  • I think they are called Gullwing doors

  • @blade83336 Actually, most of the parts that are used in this car come from the platforms of other vw models: The motor for example is a split-in-half four cylinder engine that is used in many Volkswagen, Skoda, Seat and Audi models.

  • i can only imagine how much the replacements parts or anything for that matter would cost

  • Damn.

  • The the front end of the car is AWESOME but the rear end is FUCKING UGLY !!!

  • I think it would be a good idea if they leave the wheel covers for aerodynamics but make them transparent for looks.
