Demis POV:

While Kevin hugged me I felt so safe. Like nothing could get to me. The dream seemed so stupid to me right now. Nothing could hurt me while I was with Kevin. But the thing was, he seemed to like me more than a friend. I didnt understand why, but I still sensed it. But I didnt get those same feelings back, I felt like I should. But to me, Kevin was like the big brother I never had. Someone who could possibly turn out to be a best friend. Someone I could share all my troubles with. He was that guy. The one you didnt have to worry about your looks with. He wouldnt care. I decided to forget about that for now, if he liked me and told me about it, then I would decide what to do. But for now it didnt matter. Nothing mattered. Everything seemed alright, for once in my life. Boy , was I wrong.

Nicks POV:

The song I wrote actually turned out to have potential. I was thinking of playing it on the radio the next time I was on. I would time it exactly so that Demi could hear it.

Nick: Hey Joe, I need to tell you something.
Joe: What?
Nick: This is kind of hard for me to say, dont laugh at me.
Joe: Spit it out!
Nick: Okay. Well, I think Im in l I think I like Demi.
Joe: Woah.
Nick: I know.

I went next door and put a letter for Demi through the door. Then ran back to my house, and went to sleep for a while. A couple of hours later, I got ready for the radio show, it was a private interview with just me this time, so Joe and Kevin didnt come. I was already nervous, Demi hated me, could this change her feelings about me. I hoped so.

Demis POV:

Kevin left a couple of minutes ago. I came downstairs and noticed a letter addressed to me. It read
Demi. I know you hate me. But I hope this can change, because I really like you. Your voice makes me smile. Your eyes make me melt. Your unique and I love that about you. And I know right now you probably dont care about that, and I know you wont feel the same way about me. But it would mean a lot to me if you could listen to the radio and listen to my interview. Please just do this one thing. Love, Nick

My heart suddenly started to beat really fast. He liked me. He truly did. I could tell he meant everything he said in the letter. I turned on the radio. Lucky for me, it was at the exact point they introduced Nick. They talked for a while about random stuff, music, tours, girls. Then Nick said he had a new song he wanted to play. It was dedicated to a girl he hasnt known for very long, but who he loved more than anything.
