I dont understand what is so dangerous on this road. I enjoyed the video, but still...I just dont get it. Highway 550 between Durango, Colorado and Ouray, Colorado is a dangeroous road...this looks like a freeway to me with great scenery.

We do that ride then go right down past "The Castle" in thistle through San Pete then down towards Moroni-Nephi and go up over Nebo Loop. And Visa-Versa It's like a whole different ride when you switch directions.
But yeah that is a Very Dangerous Canyon - More deaths there than any other Road I know of... Although they did just lost a rider up Provo.

Any highway can be dangerous if drivers aren't careful. All you need to do is drive carefully (ride carefully), keep your wits about you, don't drive like an idiot and you should be able to make out the other side in one piece.
