The guy in the production booth choosing what camera angles to use ought to be shot!! Chuck is the show - Show Chuck!! The silly dancers and the other musicians don't matter. They show them and miss Chuck's Scoot and also lead guitar solo- unforgivible......

This is from Shindig show, it wasn't exclusively dedicated to Chuck Berry. He was just one of the guests :)

I have read that Chuck Berry wrote this song after a tour of Australia in the mid sixties,

because he found Australia so desolate and depressing, especially the living conditions

of indigenous Australians. He did return a number of times in later decades so maybe

things became more to his liking in Aus.

By 1965 the original wave of Rock'n'Roll no longer existed. We had already the Beatles pop and the british invasion, plus Bob Dylan busy inventing "rock". So it's amusing but I guess Chuck must have felt as a bit outdated here, as rock'n.roll revivals were yet to come.

Ahhhh...GREAT Chuck Berry tune. One of my absolutely favs by him.
