Its really a personal preference when it comes down to choosing manual or auto, Some like autos for racing and others are die hard manual racers it just all depends, I chose manual for a personal preference (silver mustang) but I've lost to autos also so it really doesn't matter in the long run after mods/bolt-ons etc

Not bad. My best 1/8 mile here in Phoenix in an '82 notch 5.0 with 200 whp was 9.27 @ 76 mph, continuing on to a 1/4 of 14.45 @ 95 mph, with a crap 2.21 60 foot, stock 3.27s and a shitbox 4 spd trans with third gear being 1:1.

@gtdrummerdude Not bad at all man, Yea you can work on the 60ft lol even tho my time in this was pretty crappy i've since gotten quicker with my best being a 9.4 @ 74mph pretty much with just a CAI/ Y pipe dual exhaust on 20's with a 60ft of 2.0flat My 1/4 mile best was a 15.3 @ 90mph on same setup, i have now added 4.10 gears, T-Lok, Tuner but have yet to take it back to the track and see were im at now, But still great numbers on that Notch =)

@xXxViSiOnxXx The tuner should help a bit if you run it on the 93 octane mode and use 93 octane gas obviously lol. The gears will cut your ET down a bit but from everything I have seen and heard, they will not increase your mph at all. I have heard of people switching from 3.08 to 4.10 gears and knocking half a second off their ET but the mph didn't go up a lick. Still, gears are worth it for the ET and the fun. I'll be curious to see how it does next time you race it. Are you in California?

All V6 Models come with the Same Hp/Tq regardless of Manual transmission or Automatic, I've modified mine with Dual Exhaust/Cold Air intake/T-lok/4.10 Gears/Tuner so I have more power and traction than he does and it was his first time racing that day :)

If I got a mustang should I get a auto or manual? I've had a manual accord for a few years and I'm kinda tired of the manual but if getting an auto mustang would be gay, then il get a manual. Opinions please!

see v8 doesnt mean shit , v6 is almost just ss good as v8 , just needed to have air inrake and some heqders with true duAL EXHAUST
