@jdunf93 Well, revelry basically means partying. Like, he loved his girlfriend . . . but he loved to get high/drink more. 'See, the demon and me were the ebst of friends from the start.' refers to his, erm, addiction, I suppose. That's my take on it ^^ But that's mostly me going off my ex's actions xD
