this is what I think:
I have downloaded music I otherwise would have never heard, by dloading this I began to like his music and now I am buyin his stuff (because limewire is doown, but thats not the point :P) and when TPB goes down a 1000 wanna be piratebays come I its place and the seeders will keep seeding but the torrent is just on another website; in fact on other websites its like you have a waspsnest in a small room, you break the wasp's nest wasps get angry they sting you but wont die...

Music and movie industry are only made for profit,sosupporting them you simply support poverty. Why spend money on music and movies and make some people rich,when daily 17000 die for hunger? They tryy to stop torrents, they try to stop Open source.Generally they try to stop everyting that is meant for the wealth of the population. Why? the answer is simple. They only care about profit,and if they need to,they will make sure that everyone who stands in their way will probabily die poor!

I use Linux Ubuntu, and Mint to download from piratebay, because the viruses in the banner advertisement on piratebay don't effect any of the 1,000 Linux distributions...
Next thing you know they'll try to stop the GNU /GPL free software movement as well.
O - Wait they already did like when Microsoft tried to sue Linux groups for patent infringement . Microsoft, and Apple took code from Linux , then patented code, turned around and tried to sue the open source group they got the code from.
