Cynon Reviews: Hero: Chronicles of Rose (RM2k3) Part 2

I have decided to review RM2k3 games in the style of the great UrinatingTree. I started with Hero: Chronicles of Rose, a bad Rm2k3 game made by a good developer.

It's more of a leisure thing for me, my big Youtube focus is on Nascar videos that tell stories.

The blinking of the characters when they win makes me want to punch something.. It's just very, very, very lame. Also, work on your damn battle system and the balance of things before focusing so much on your characters eyes blinking ffs. Also, be more original with your main villains name.. "Void" is pretty damn lame too. This games graphics were pretty good to be honest but there was a lot in it that was totally unnecessary.

The victory music was terrible. 3 out of 5

The victory music was a terrible rendition of the one from Valkyrie Profile, I forgot to mention that. I plan to (eventually) review a very, VERY basic game (divided between Darkenergy 1 and Jarzug's Big Adventure) that I enjoyed immensely.

Is it just me, or is Sethablabla something of a rip off of Rhue's sprite from The Way? Just look at the jump animation...

I love your hilarious grunts. You should seriously make more Rm2k3 reviews. I don't think you know how much those grunts set you apart and could've made you a famous reviewer.

It's like telling someone the picture they drew was nice, but it could use some work here or there. They EXPLODE at me for it! D:

It's not like we don't know how much time and effort goes into making them, but that doesn't mean it's perfect! o.o

well...Some of them can take criticism. I mean I told one guy that his game needed major improvement and he starts freaking out about how hard it was to make it and other junk like that :P

I'm still a beginner though, and working on my 1st game. But I have experience with drawing and plot devices/characterization, so I have hope for my project. :P

Sometimes I'm just shocked at what people release on the internet seriously. At least they can take criticism, I'll give them that.

I won't even waste my computer's space XD! I probably wouldn't do better than Chronicles of Rose, but I'm sure I could do better than most XP Games...
