You're exactly right. Delicious is no-follow. I just like using it: very user-friendly, etc. And, it does get traffic! My example was showing how simple it is to start bookmarking. Many do- follow sites are now no-follow. Choose what works for you.

I agree with you that social bookmarking is very effective for getting links and, therefor, traffic to your site. Delicious is just not a good example, because all the links are "no-follow". This means that Google will NOT count them. The only traffic you get is from people who search for your topic within delicious. This may still give you a significant amount of traffic, but does not work the way it is explained in the video.
