Sunday Night Adult Speed Skate 2

This is the second set of high speed skating, this time with a bunch of new skaters. There is competition between Blades and Quads and toward the end, the camera becomes part of the action. There are 4 Frames of a wipe out with the Skater pointed in the wrong direction on the floor. See if you can catch it.

For sure not :( The artistic club did go to nationals and did very well. Nicole Leonard is going to worlds in china but not the Speed Team because...well, they just do it for fun!

that looks like a big circle with no straightaways. Is that just an illusion? It looks like there's not a whole lot of room at that rink.

That's an illusion because I take the video mostly from the inside. Also, the cones are purposely close together. In case someone loses it, they don't go splat against the wall. Even though the walls are carpeted, one of the guys lost it and was out like a light for a few minutes.

nice vid man, i quad speed and im thinkin about buying a pair of 'bont jet 3point' speed skates. i used to do alot of normal inline skating then i got hella fast =] quads are fun but theres a point where the floor gets too slick so i want speed inlines to grip the floor and start racing again =p

I totally get the inline thing. I am personally hooked on quads but we have a group of three guys that come on sunday adult nights who pace on their inline's. Puts the quads to shame. The only way to even it up is to relay and have the inlines go three rounds and the quaders one round each.
