A little bit of the past from 1988 to 1990.
Jammie Git - Vocals
Ben E Git - Bass
Matt 'Guitar' Git - Guitar (remarkably)
Chris 'Never had a nickname' Git - Guitar
Jason 'Little' Git (the token short person) - Vocals
Glen Sisela - Drums
Dave Evans - Guitar & Tapes
With the following historical landmarks in order of appearance:
MBN's Love Shack, Horsham (Collyers College Drama Hut).
Radio Sussex Studios, Marlborough Place, Brighton (For the marvellous Sunday evening show 'Turn It Up').
Collyers Duckering Hall. (Where we had to insist on going on first so the bass player could get to a Civil War re-enactment in time. Perhaps we weren't quite committed enough for a successful career in music).
The Richmond, Brighton (now The Pressure Point).
Champagnes Nightclub, Horsham - Tuesday night was music night (under where now stands B52s for any locals who stray this way).
Horsham Park Sports Centre as was.
To give an idea of the scale of the music scene in Sussex of that era we came third in the local Radio poll for the best band of the region after the mighty Pop Guns and 14 Iced Bears.
(Not to be confused with the ill fated Americans of the same name and era).
[BBQ = bit better quality]
