"In an attempt to influence them"... Why is it even allowed in the first place? Are you allowed to lobby a judge after a court case, but before the verdict is handed out in an attempt to influence the decision? This is so obviously corruption, and yet americans just keep hitting the proverbial snooze button to their lives.
