How do you control the programs, speed and intensity from the DMX Controller?

I have one of these, and I still haven't figured out what the S1oN, or S1oF settings control. I love this tutorial because it shows very nicely what the manual doesn't. But since you don't cover the S1,S2,S3,S4oN, oFF settings, I was hoping you can say what they mean. Thanks for a great explanation.

The S function is not available on the unit in the video but on some other unit we supplied, this function is to change the channel function from dimming to switching (relay).

If your scanner is a DMX unit there is no need to connect it to the dimmer pack, you should connect it as part of the DMX link. If you are looking to power your unit thru the dimmer pack you need to be careful as it is not recommended, but if your dimmer packs is able to set the channel you are looking to connect your scanner to from dimming channel to switching channel then you are able to connect it as long as the channel is set as switching channel. This dimmer pack is strictly dimmer pack.
