dawson, how can you say that we've stopped evolving? evolution takes hundreds of thousands if not millions of years to happen. you don't go to sleep with 2 arms and then wake up with 3! We don't need 3 arms and we don't need eyes in the back of our heads because we have successfully survived without them. We are losing our apendixes as they are now redundant. Babies are being born without roots for wisdom teeth as they are redundant.

@simondier i personally think that evolving is going to slow down even more than it already is because...

1. Very high population.

2. We aren't letting nature pick out the best humans, we have cures for genetic diseases such as diabetes.

But yeah, it isn't necessary to have a 3rd arm or eyes in the back of the head. I agree with you there and we definately haven't stopped evolving but I personally think that it is slowing down by a LOT
