My 10/22 Custom. She sports a Tapco stock lathed out to .925, Complete Volquartsen trigger pack & Bolt. Free floating 18" ER Shaw BB, BSA Sweet .22 BDC sitting on a Warne Tactical Rail, Tango Down Stubby, Harris bench bipod and two Ruger mags connected together. She will put 10 shots in a 3 inch target at 225 yards using MATCH grade ammo with EASE!! I can usually do it with bulk Federal or Remington as well ! SIDE NOTE: Tapco NOW sells a BB version of the T6. When Venom was made they did not offer a BB T6. They obviosly took note.
Sorry for the ticking sound its my cameras drive going bad. Got a new Cam.

  • how much would i spend on a .22 ruger? just a regular one.. maybe a big scope.

  • @James1985Smith A plain Jane stock 10/22 out the door on average is about $225-$250. That also depends on your state. A "good" scope under $100 so your looking at $300-$350 with a good scope. Take it from me if your not going to be shooting long ranges at can or rabbits/vermin get a red dot. and alot faster to aquire moving targets should your first shot miss. Thats why I have 10/22s with red dots like the Rat and others tricked out with bull barrels and 14x mil dot scopes. I like 2 have options

  • @turretslemurswithgun Look at my video lineup. Look for Mag Coupler video. :)

  • @shoktroop hey brother i was wondering if you still have your BSA SWEET Scope? if so how reliable are they for the money. ive got one and i have to say that the glass for this scope is awesome and it looks and feels like a real expensive scope so i was just wanting your insight on this scope thanks in advance

    later shok

  • @shoktroop ok thanks

  • @tractorman96 Absolutely. You will have a few mm of clearance. I have that exact setup on another 10/22 with a high rings and standard base with standard barrel and I have about 5mm of clearance.

  • @tractorman96 ok. i wont be getting a 50mm scope as i have one on another .22, so if i were to have a 40mm scope on factory standard weaver base, with standard barrel, high rings would clear the top railing/cover right?

  • @tractorman96 If your going with a 50mm objective then you want to use high rings with a 20 MOA base. Not stock base. It will give you a few milimeters of room. If your using the stock barrel then you will have to use a high base and high rings with the tapco barrel cover on. If you rdoing a bull barrel leave the cover off.. Helps with barrel cooling. I kept this cover on for cosmetic puposes. When shooting I take it off.

  • @shoktroop ok thanks im planning on doing this later this year and didnt know the height of the rings i would need ima go with high on the regular base, is a 50 scope too big to use with the tapco stock with high rings?

  • @tractorman96 Medium Rings with the Wiegand 20 MOA base. The extra high base alows me to use medium rings.
