Hey, what level injury do you have?

Mine is a T7 incomplete. I'm still getting little improvements, although it's early days for me, only 9 months since the injury.

I'm still doing intense physio, loads of neuro pain. No pain, no gain tho' huh !!!!

I broke my neck c4/c5,yeah i to had heaps of pain but thankfull.y its gone.Never give up because those little improvements could turn into alot.TThats right no pain no gain ,i experience that alot from all my exercising,if my muscles hurt im happy there getting worked

what would you say your emotions were like towards yourself when you couldnt move certain muscles,

In the very early years yes they were as at that stage all my sensation was coming back

Thank you for posting such an inspirational story. Yours and other stories like yours need to be spread - not just to spinal patients, but just as importantly, to more clinicians - then maybe fewer clinicians will cut off hope by saying 'You'll never walk/move again...'.
