I live in Mountain Village and everything here is true. Most of these houses are owned by banks now because the fools that used to own them were financing them because they were getting sub-prime interest loans. When the interest rates went up, and the housing market crashed, they dumped these houses on the banks. There have been two pages of foreclosure notices in the local newspaper every week since the market crash. That is literally hundreds of multi-million dollar foreclosures.
