just curious why you dont clean the hose? i run water through it, is that ok?

@MrZOMBIECAKES I keep separate hoses for similar flavors. Red for berry flavors, green for mint, brown for coffee, etc. double apple has its own hose, spice have their own hose, etc. Do it this way and you never have to deal with washing hoses :)

Yeah works great! .. but if you have some lemon, hot water, vinegar? I would use hot water with one of the other two. Cheers!

Cleaning your hookah is really important! My 33" Mya hookah is extremely hard to get completely clean. I haven't kept it as clean as I should have and I am regretting it now. I was about to try using some coke with a little lemon juice added, but after seeing this video I might give beer a try instead! Definitely want to use something nontoxic, don't want to be inhaling any chemicals!

Yes it is very important! I rinse mine after every night and thoroughly clean it about every other night. Provides a much better smoke so you can taste what you are smoking and not something from last week! haha .. give the beer a try, it does work! Or go with some lemon juice and baking soda. Lemon first with brush, then baking soda with brush .. then rinse and use your brush with regular water. Should be squeky clean! Hope that helps .. Cheers!

looks like i have build up in my base from water, should i just let it soak with hot water and lemon juice or something? and what about baking soda? should i use some of that too?

if you want to neutralize the taste of youre shisha a handgranade wil just do fine,nothing destroys filth better than a good old handgranade! IF, just water is fine to. using beer is just retarded.

@TheUltimateArts The grommet is for sealing it so when you breath in the hose you wont breath in too much air. Just buy one from hookah-shisha, they are cheap.

In all honesty... why.. if you want to clean it use the old school dishwasher trick. as many old farts know that ever had a dishwasher job. put some cold water in a coffee pot with salt in it and the salt will scratch away anything inside the coffee pot (in this case residue) swish it around it may take alot of work but it gets it really clean and when your done just rinse it out. beer.... not really seeing the point..
