http://presentationexpressions.com In this video I'm going to show you how easy and effective it can be to start a presentation with a quote.

This is very useful when trying to find a new way to begin a presentation.

  • Another question for you Carl: Do you know if it's possible to use an external camera with Screenflow?

    Thanks for taking my question!

  • @mrjohnnyscarface It's possible with certain cameras. Google: screenflow external camera. There's a great answer from the Screenflow people.

I personally would rather use my regular camcorder if I have time, but for this video, the MacBook Air's built-in camera worked fine... better than I thought it would, actually :)

  • Hey Carl, how are you? Am I mistaken or you've got your zoom H1? Your audio sounds AMAZING!

Very nice video as always my friend!

  • @mrjohnnyscarface Thanks Johnny!

I got the Zoom H1 on Saturday, so couldn't use it for this video. I used my Edutige EIM-003 iPhone mic as a lav and recorded directly into Screenflow. The lav cable has input gain adjustment, so I was able to get some decent audio.

  • Hi Carl

Thank you very much for your priceless advice. I always find your clips are so interesting and great. I'm not in a position to use the wonderful advice or tips from you right now, but I imagine they'll come to hand in futhure.

    Have a pleasent day!!

  • @premium1253 Thanks for your support, as always! I really appreciate it. Let me know if there's something you'd like to learn about and I'll make a video about it :)

  • @RikSupa Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment! Glad the video is able to help you!

  • This is what I need right now ^^~

Thanks Carl Kwan so so much.

  • @gf50991 Hi Gustavo! Good question. In my opinion, both are just as important. You have to know your topic, but you need to be imaginative to communicate your knowledge.
