Expedition 20 Flight Engineer Michael Barratt provides a 20-minute tour of the International Space Station, documenting the full 167 feet of the space station's pressurized modules. Barratts commentary describes to Mission Control in Houston how equipment and supplies are arranged and stored, and provides engineers with a detailed assessment of each module-to-module hatchway.

  • I actually find this almost more interesting than the epic IMAX extravaganzas that are made for the general public.

I mean, I have no idea what this guy is talking about, but it gives a more real sense of what it's like up there. A bunch of humans living inside some pressurised cans high above the earth, running experiments and trying to keep the whole place ship-shape.

There's housekeeping to do, even in space!

  • way to not explain any of the 800 acronyms you used guys!

  • @thepeach12345 wtf are you talking about.

  • this video is very interesting and cool

  • the bad part is nobody is interested in nasa because we are jelous...you all get all that stuff and get to do it and we are stuck on earth so why should I waste my time to make you happy?

  • Wow, this is really great. Was just at NASA in Houston and the IMAX doesn't compare to the quality of this HD video.

  • if macs are so great, why does NASA and the international space station use PCs?

  • so many laptops throughout.

  • finaly!! russians cleared the module..

    looks pretty good now!

  • Notice they're using xp and not vista. On a serious note, the ISS is really a testament to humanity's will to get along for something bigger than themselves. Old enemies now friends, multiple nations working together for a just cause. No borders up there, just national pride and a common cause.

  • Should add a space shuttle main tank, turn it into a hotel!!

  • PMA - pressurised mating adapter. Basically, an adapter for different modules.
