@Oblationem: You have taken Matthew 5:25-26 totally out of context, it starts in Matthew 5:21. It speaks of being agry with someone and coming to God without having resolved your conflict with your brother. We are to resolve conflict before it leads to bigger problems including prison. If the scripture you gave refers to hell then that would mean we would have to agree with Satan (our adversary) which we are to never do. So Matthew 5:26 is not talking about hell.

GOD is perfect. Heaven has to be a perfect place, and nothing imperfect can enter (Revelation 21:27). GOD will not join Himself to anything defiled. If a person dies with sins not sufficient for hell (the sin unto death, 1John 5:16-17), and has lesser sins to prevent entry into Heaven, then there has to be a third place in which to atone for them. This would be a temporary place, as stated in Matthew 5:25-26, "You shall not come out until you have paid the last penny".
Come out of where?

@EGMAG
What's up is that: the RCC is the Church that Christ founded. It's Christ's Church and our Church, and the Dogma of the Assumption is what Christ's Church has deamed to be worthy of belief. Google the "Dogma of the Assumption".

I would like to find out why it is that religions in general put such credence in themselves as "absolute truth"; when they are filled with so much unbelievable, and many (not all) stories that are obvious fable; please, please, please tell?

@EGMAG
Jesus said He was the Truth. If I say anything against what Jesus or the Holy Roman Catholic Church taught, please disreguard it. As for those who speak fables, ask them.

It must be a youtube problem as the audio used to work okay. Turn your volume up and see what happens. It worked for me.
