Love your bags! Just saw this a week ago and made a couple myself. For my daughter (6yo), I used a hook 2 sizes smaller to make a mini bag and wanted to use a cross stich hoop for the handle like you did. That way it can also be smaller than typical purse handles and I can get a pretty pink to match the yarn. My question for you is: how did you deal with the nobs/screws that stick off of the hoops when attaching them to the bag?

@bkjttba I tighten the loop to match the other and just worked around it!! You don't really see the nobs once you fold over... I do believe I did one more row for the handle area on each side for the loop one!
