By the way, what technique do you find easier to use to block out every hole, but the one your playing? I'm trying to use the technique where you squeeze your lips together

Thanks. I'm gonna find my harmonica right away (it was night when I saw this film for the first time, so my parents wouldn't be happy for hearing a harmonica play at midnight).

Alliax plays the chromatic and makes beautiful sounding music. I really like his Titanic theme song. Is it possible to duplicate such a sound with a simple diatonic? Check out his video and see what you think.

I didn't see the movie so I don't know the song. Alliax was one of my first heroes on youtube. He was technically proficient...and he wore underwear on his head, LOL! I have had a chromatic D for 28 years, so I'm not completely ignorant to them. I can play the starspangled banner on a diatonic by bending, on the chromatic I just push the button, but I don't mess with it enough to fairly compare the two in action in any given song. NTJ
