I have a Ted Williams .22 like this but am missing the bolt pin you mentioned in your other video. Do you know if there is something like that I could pick up at a sportsman's store like Scheels? I think in unjamming it today I might have lost that piece. Thanks

I bought two of these rifles for Christmas for the wife and I. I took them apart last night and that stupid spring was about the death of me. I got one back in after about 30 minutes by pure luck (blind squirel thing). My ten year old daughter kept having to chase the little plastic spring guide everytime it shot out. I knew someone on youtube would know how to reassmble that spring without making you want to smash the gun over boulder. Thanks!

This was extremely helpful; it's been years since I shot and cleaned my 190. I was outside cussing trying to get the spring back in and it wasn't working. Saw your trick with the 2 screw drivers and I said about 10 times "that man is a genius!!!" Thanks for the assist.
Perfect! I bought one of these 190's back in the 1970's and recently "found" it in storage. Not too many rounds were put through it back then, but it has some external rust on the barrel and scope. Looks to be good for cleanup and shooting except that I had totally forgotten how to disassemble and reassemble. Great video and I really like the spring trick with the two screwdrivers. Thanks!

Wow, I bought a 190 in June and have been slaying some squirrels with it this fall. But it started jamming, so I looked this up the other day and watched it a few times. The dissassemble as well. But you were right, the spring was a bugger. I came back tonight and watched and found out what I was doing wrong, pushing it left to right. When I saw you doing it right to left, I got it the first time Thanks a lot!
