Through an extraordinary series of events beginning in 1999, Dick & Gladys Funnell received a clear call from God to go and pray for the next Welsh Revival in an old chapel. As a result, they made West Wales their home in May of 2005, and have joined the ranks of intercessors the Lord has been raising up throughout this "Land of Revivals." My young son got wonderfully saved 2 years ago and the lord told him to go to cardiff. he has been there nearly year just preaching on the street. the month he was saved sent me a text which i have kept on my phone saying their was going to be a revival in England and Wales. I found this interesting coming from someone who had never heard about the welsh revival. Start in my heart Lord

A year ago last summer, I felt led by the Holy Spirit to instigate prayer for Revival in Wales. Since then, folk from my church have been praying every Friday from 7-8am for the outpouring of God's Spirit. Independently of one another, people have been given pictures of shafts of light bursting through. 'If my people, who are called by my Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land'

This is all very well. But I have heard these type of prophecies before. 25yrs ago I heard that revival was coming to Wales eg 1985, 1990 etc. These may have been well intentioned beliefs, but if such prophecies were spoken in the OT they would have been stoned as false prophets. I don't know whether a true revival will ever come to Wales, or anywhere else, and neither does anyone else. Things are getting worse and not better. God's judgment is on our land. May He have

Oh My God! This is surely from the Lord. I have just burst into tears all of a sudden over this message and was weeping and crying for revival in Wales and in every nation all over the world.! We need to pray day and night, it's so painful and heart breaking when Holy Spirit shows me things and makes me cry so deeply. We need to join and pray desperately for revival and salvation of our families and friends. It's so important, who is ready to pray?
