@yfytgfjhgkjhg locking trem- without it this thing would be horribly out of tune by the end, although you sacrifice being able to on-the-spot change tunings properly. i personally find locking tuners and a graphite nut works just as well :P

Hi - I'm looking into the Am Deluxe. I'm trying to decide on the 3 single coils vs the HSS humbucker model. How do you like the HSS? I've read mixed reviews about it - some complain that the volume transition can be a bit drastic. Any feedback / thoughts would be appreciated...

@ps3fanforever no, it simply means that the bridge, and tuning heads and screws are chrome.

Hello there, I have one question:
In GuitarCenter the info. says that the HSS Stratocaster has chrome hardware, so does that mean that the knobs, pickups, humbucker and pickguard are all chrome?

Travis style picking? I have always had a huge problem learning any song - almost a musical disablility. I just play giberish - never the same twice. Did not go over well with band mates!
