Doom 2: Hell on Earth. Icon of Sin - Ultra Violence No Cheat

This is the last level of doom 2 hell on earth. It is very tough to beat it on the "ultra violence" skill level because right when you enter the portal in the beginning there is a Revenant demon on the stage at the front. I used the BFG9000 to clear my path quickly every time. It takes 3 shots of a rocket in his brain to kill him. NOTE: this version of doom 2 is the original DOS version so I didn't have a crossair to help me aim, and I couldn't aim down to his brain. I have had this level saved since 1996.

this was my childhood, I remember trying to figure out how to beat Icon of Sin after countless fails while reaching my way to success.

Ahh good times with this game. I still remember playing it on my 233 mhz cpu which was my first pc except apple 2e but still awesome fun :)

I'm attempting this on the XBLA version, and I'm hating it with a passion. Mostly because I'm having trouble clearing the enemies fast enough to get a shot in before getting swarmed with skulls. If I'm lucky, I'll get ONE successful shot into Romero's mug. Those 50 points will be mine, though......dammit.

Wow man. You owned on this level. I remeber playing it as a kid on "hurt me plenty " skill where this level took me hours and hours to complete.

Some people don't understand how hard this level actually is, but you've obviously mastered it.
