  • This the a traditional dance of the Fang people who are originally from Rio Muni, the continent part of EG, not the island. The Fang people are the most dominant people/culture in all of EG. They took over the island of Bioko, original home to the Bubi people, during the 1900s. The genocide of the Bubi people began during the colonial era. It took the Europeans nearly 400 years to even get close enough to the native people, because they fought back, to penetrate them.

  • @TheWeighIn This is from Haut-Ogooué province, Nzebi country, not Fang. But yea Fang is not too far. This Nzebi country style.
