  • Now the powers of heaven do serve invisibly with us. Lo, the King of Glory enters. Lo, the mystical sacrifice is upborne, fulfilled. Let us draw near in faith and love, and become communicants of life eternal. Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

  • Charles Bruffy took time out of his day to come see our choir class and give us tips. What a good person.

  • Bought this recording a couple months ago. These basses are GODS among men. Seriously. On no other album have I heard C's, B's, Bb's so present, rich, clear. Gah. This album was a truly awesome discovery for me. Grechaninov's music is so incredible and how great to have 2 of the greatest choirs today to bring these works to life. Bravo! I hope to audition for the KCC someday =D

  • lovely job, personally prefer slightly faster tempo, and clearer russian diction

  • @bearwrassler176 My choir director was a tenor in the Phoenix Bach Choir. I love this song.

  • Wow, this is excellent. I'm left speechless.

  • This makes me think of the scripture:

Then he opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures. He told them, "this is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:45-47

  • These tracks are all sung not just by the KCC, but also by the equally excellent Phoenix Bach Choir (now the Phoenix Chorale). Each choir is 24 voices.

  • beautiful
