yeah, im Indian too and i have NEVER Indians speak like pommies when they've never even left India. The wife IS overreacting about her husbands ex ... but, i dunno ... maybe Indian women are like that ... i mean, she have been living in america for a while.
But she should be grateful her husband bothered to tell her the truth, unlike the majority of Indian husbands who dont find their wives worthy of knowing the truth, or something like that.

I know. I've heard Indians speak before. In fact, I actually am Indian. Therefore, you can safely bet that my critique of this movie (which I tend to believe is spot-on) is based on its quality, not its Indian cast and crew.
I mean, would somebody act THAT immature about her husband meeting with his ex's family? It's not like the girl's in a mental condition sufficient for them to start something. This film thinks that it's being Citizen Kane-quality, when I compare it to Dear Abby letters.

the 'pompous-arse, stranglely-accented english' bit is true. Indians dont speak like that. Its really dumb. But the rest of the movie is really good.
