I still have my battle bot lol its just a car thingy with a hammer and a flipping thing on the back... but for some reason i was playing with it and the spinning thing just flew out of the bot i was like what the?

you should connect the hammer direct to the battery so its constintly rotating

The reason why i didn't was because sometimes, you need to hit things at different directions, like pull off brick, instead of push them down. Its kinda hard to explain, but whatever.

6:44 oh dear haha that happens alot in my battlebots too!!
I like the idea of using a differential - when I let others drive my spinners I'm relying on them not turning the weapon on when it can't move... which makes me paranoid!

Firstly, the reason why the 8t gear some loose is the differential skipped twice before in this video (which is now fixed!)
secondly, the reason why I used a differential is because it makes an adder, which combines the torque and the speed of the motors.

The differentials only work tis way when they are in that configuration. Also, Im not sure if the mechanism exactly doubles the spped and torque, but i know it is far more effective than just puttung two motors to one axel...
