Mas' Chinese Islamic Restaurant, Anaheim, CA (Guest: Napoleon from 2Pac's Outlawz) - Sameer's Eats

In this episode, Sameer visits his favorite Halal Chinese restaurant, Mas' Chinese Islamic Restaurant in Anaheim, California. Sameer does not hesitate to dig in to eat one of his favorite dishes, Mongolian Beef. His dear friend, Napoleon (formerly of 2Pac's Outlaws) joins him to try out this clean and friendly establishment.

Mas' Islamic Chinese Restaurant has been part of the Orange County community for the last 30 years! It is very popular lunch eatery among many muslims and non-muslims that live and work in the area. Although Sameer was denied filming of the kitchen, he had a chance to have a sneak peek where he observed a clean kitchen and an assembly line of chefs working away! This explains the quick service and delicious food. Sameer had an opportunity to speak with owners Fatima Ma' and Ali Ma' where we are educated on their history.

"Sameer's Eats" brings you the latest in halal eateries primarily in the US. Sameer Sarmast, a young professional is excited to share with you the hot spots that he has been checking out lately!

The majority of restaurants Sameer visits are "Zabiha-Halal" restaurants. This means if Sameer is eating meat then he has inquired if the restaurant serves meat that is slaughtered and prepared according to Islamic Laws (and prepared using halal ingredients). Sameer does not in any way guarantee the meat is Zabihah-Halal, he does his best to ask and inquire if it is. I drove by this place like a month ago, and there were no cars in the parking lot during lunch time. I was sooooo worried that my favorite Chinese restaurant had closed! I couldn't be happier to see that they're open and doing brisk business. Thanks for this video! :)

Assalamu Alykum.... I live in San Diego. I was working not too far from there and got lost on Orangethorp and saw the sign. I had to stop and that was the best meal I have ever had. I haven't had egg roll since other Chinese food fry it in the same oil with pork. The meal tested it extra dilish when I was in peace that it is pork free. Prices are very fair. I am hooked. I drive 120 miles just for the meal. On top of all that, a room to pray with prayer rugs provided. Mash'Allah.
