  • he should have won a title

  • Man Reggie had BAD luck. First his team plays the Jordan-led Bulls, and then Kobe + Shaq in their prime?

    This guy DESERVED a ring.

  • Reggie ALMOST won a ring. Danny Ainge wanted him to have a comeback with the Celtics in 2007, and they won the championship that same year, but Reggie decided better of it. Think of that team...Ray Allen AND Reggie Miller? Guarding the perimeter would have been IMPOSSIBLE.

It's also interesting to note that Larry Bird, one of the greatest shooters EVER, coached Reggie Miller, one of the greatest shooters EVER. Two of the only five players to ever have a 50-40-90 season.

  • Does no one realize what a GREAT coach and basketball mind Larry Bird was?? You saw it when he played AND when he coached. I mean the Pacers never really had a championship-caliber season until he came as coach, then they almost won it all in 1998 except for the Jordan/Pippen/Rodman Bulls and in 2000 except for the Shaq/Kobe Lakers.

  • i remember his last game against the pistons :(

  • The pacers were cheated out of beating the bulls in the 98 finals, stern wanted the bulls in the finals and the refs made sure it happened.

  • @Addinkuu i pretty sure he doesn't care about your respect

  • jon starks burnt down his house

  • today the nba is full of weenies

  • Reggie deserved a ring, but he doesnt need one....he was a CHAMPION anyway

  • if only reggie left indiana for a title contender team he would have won a ring oh well cant deny his commitmnet to his team

  • Championships do not define greatness.

The acknowledgement of your peers, oponents, enemies, and collegues alike does. Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Patrick Ewing, and even current players today credit Reggie with being one of the best ever. That should be enough for us all. But watching him play through adversity, racism, and against all odds while succeeding, THAT'S what makes him great.
