Trapped by Police while marching for Oscar Grant

Tonight I was trapped and held by police the Oakland Police Department during a peaceful protest for Oscar Grant. Right before they arrested everyone they said that members of the press could leave. I raised my camera in the air and was then rushed through the police blockade. I ran home to post this for the pubic to see.

I am sure you can find plenty of places in the media where they focus on things you mentioned. I respect everybody's right to free speech and i also understand the world is pluralistic. I am sorry you have such a negative and pessimistic view on Americas future(it's young people).While i agree that this current generation of Americans has a lot they can learn from the generations that preceded them, calling them awful names is probably not the best way to begin building bridges that will help us all create a better America. I agree with you Some Tall Gy. The police acted like complete gentlemen. I have not a single complaint about the way they did their job. I hope my video didn't imply other wise. I was simply displaying what i saw from my vantage point.

The officers did a great job that night. Learning from past rioting of the animals in Oakland, they cracked down when damages were still minimal. Great job! Time to tame the people who think its ok to act like out of control animals! You mad? Good!

@mm5425 No I did not vote for Bush, but by your logic, is it okay if I come to your house, burn your vehicle up and trash your home as long as I'm protesting for human lives? Because that is what your response tells me. It is one thing to peacefully protest and have your voice heard, its something else entirely to damage OTHER PEOPLE'S property who have NOTHING to do with the incident, to have your voice heard.

This video is bullshit. Don't believe it. All the car stomping, window breaking, fighting is edit out. The only parts that are in this video is cops 'trapping' them trying to make it seem like cops were the bad guys. Its not like the cops said 'hey , let's trap them' the ONLY reason why they did that was YOU stupid protestors (who give officers OVERTIME) were trapped because YOU GUYS kept attacking houses, cars and stuff.
