I just think there are coincidences in the timeline. When Leighton's relationship gets more serious Ed starts dating Jessica. Right after Leighton calls off her relationship so does Ed. I know that Jessica 'cheated' on Ed but she was 'flirting' with someone, could it be that he was just looking for an excuse to dump her? They just don't seem to have the same kind of chemistry that Ed and Leighton have (in real life or on screen). lol I don't know I just think it would be interesting :P
