Sbarro pizza in Shibuya, Tokyo

I really love pizza... No... I like really really love pizza. So in making the move to the Japan the hardest thing was saying goodbye to quality pies!

You see most Japanese pizzas are commonly small, abused with bizarre topping and really just straight nasty.

However there's a Sbarro pizza place that opened in Shibuya and so far I think it's the closest thing you are going to get to a pizza back in the states.

The sauce isn't as tart and spicy as it should be, but Japanese flavoring tends to be that way with salts, sugar and spices. Still I'm getting closer. Check it out!

Forget Sbarro's. You should check out Rocco's New York Style Pizza in Oji. An 18" pizza for less than Sbarro's and a thousand times better. They also do pizza by the slice.
