  • The circumstances of Washington's death are not in dispute and are easily found with a simple search. Not as indicated by tbursee below; that's just gratuitous crap being spewed there.

    Mount Vernon, a privately run historical site, shows Washington's own words on slavery in the first building after the tour of the main house. It's a beautiful place to visit and is a short distance from Washington, DC.
