@AdamSavage88 Actually Britain wanted a restored Germany (but not an Empire) because they wanted a trading partner. There main restrictions were Military. France was quite harsh but then again Germany did invade and devastate the country.

I have never heard of anyone to serve in both battles. Which unit did he serve in for both theatres.
