It's a sonic boom

@44USELESS44 I think it's more likely to be a sonic boom as the rocket goes past the sound barrier - the ripples are normally a telltale sign...

@44USELESS44 i'm pretty sure that's the water in the clouds being displaced as the rocket goes thru the cloud layer, kind of like the effect you see when you throw a pebble into a pond and then you see ripples, except it's the sheer noise of the rocket causing the ripples - i'm not sure that's exactly right but it's something like that :-0
