An example of a hypnotic induction into a state of somnambulism. A much faster, more efficient induction could have been used during this session. However, in this video I use a slow, long one to demonstrate various techniques.

For those studying hypnosis:
Can you discern the following techniques used during this induction?
--Fractionation (non-traditional)
--Direct suggestion
--Indirect suggestion
--Non-Verbal suggestion
--Convincer used as a deepener
--Confusion phrasing
--Compounding
--Highlighting suggestions with inflection or gesture

NOTE: This induction is a variation of traditional fractionation. Can you pick out the "re-inductions?" How many are there?

  • Wow, I love your wording. It's so much more relaxing and suggestive than some of the other I have been watching. So many of them are frantic and repetitive. I will definitely bee joining the newsletter ;) I have JUST started studying hypnosis, so thanks for the advice!

  • Thank you, Kyra118. I'm glad you're enjoying my work. Congratulations on beginning your journey of learning hypnosis!

I see that you joined my newsletter. Welcome aboard! I will be sending the next Newsletter quite soon. Keep an eye out for it.

  • hi kC2KL

i have been watching your videos and have been wondering whats the quickest instant hypnotic induction.Could you possibly give me a list of some really good rapid inductions?so i could try an see for my self?

    Bye johnpaul 2k7

  • All of the instant inductions take about the same amount of time (apprx. 1 min or less). Rapid ones take longer (apprx. 2-4 min). Three commonly used instant inductions are:

    --Handshake (pattern interrupt)

--Shock (hand pull, double hand drop)

    --Relaxation (Hand drop)

Although people have named some of the instant inductions, most don't have industry standard names. But they fall into two standard categories, which contain many variations of rapid inductions:

    --Shock

    --Pattern Interrupt

  • KC, ive seen all your videos a thousand times, and have learned almost too much about hypnosis, very much appreciated sir. PS: Do you plan getting a patent for "Completely and Fully"??

  • LOL. I'm not planning to patent that phrase. I put the videos up so those studying hypnosis could learn from them. If people like my patter and imitate it, that's fine.

  • He is a very large and solid guy I am surprised the chair didn't slide out from under him when you 'cut the strings'.

  • I've never been hypnotized before, but I would like to seeing that it helps you relax and focus

  • The Best parts of this video are: from these points 2:20 until 3:16 and 3:57 until 4:08

  • have you ever used the handshake pattern interrupt without people knowing that you are putting them into a trance? I haven't tried it yet. Maybe its because im to much of a chicken or maybe I just need their permission first
