My Atari Lynx I picked up cheap and fixed. Also a bit of game footage using another Mark 1 Lynx I have for spares and a comparison between the D-Pads.

Excellent mate, I've just recently bought the model 2 - been wanting to get the lynx for ages- A friend of mine had the model 1 with a whole loads of games...games I played a lot - chips challenge, blue lighting, california games, checkered flag & Gates of Zendocon. If you liked Air Zonk on the PC Engine...check out a game called Zaku. looking forward to getting my lynx along with pacland, toki, batman & Roadblasters. great vid mate:)

@1msx2go Thanks mate, I've got California Games on the way. I used to play it in Dixons :) Blue Lightning is on its way too. I'm also looking to get Pac Land & Roadblasters. It's a great system.

Lovely bit of kit there, Dave - every now and again my dizzy fingers and greedy eyes takes a trip on over to ebay to check out the availability of the Lynx. I always wanted one in the early 90's and remember flicking through the Kays catalogue at Christmas wondering whether I should ask for one or not but never did. I did own one much later on in the very late 90's but my appreciation for retro wasn't there back then so I didn't think much of it.

@bluetonic78 Ah the old Kays catalogue, I remember my old flicking routine well: Underwear, Swimwear and then onto the consoles :)

Very cool Dave ! I am actually getting my first ever Lynx in a few weeks myself although it is a Mk 2, getting it in a trade from another youtuber. Very interested in trying one out for the first time and comparing it to the mighty Game Gear LOL

@StigsGameRoom Thanks mate. I had a Lynx 2 a few years ago, they're really chunky things and they have the cart slot on top which is far easier. I do love the old mark 1 Lynx though :) Great console but not as nice to hold as they curvy GG :)

Blue Lightning is a Great game for the system,I have a first Gen Lynx with a few games so far.

It really was so much better than the Gameboy but Money talks and Nintendo won and even beat the Nomad and Gamegear which blows my mind!

I love my NEC TurboGrafx Express too,it is Awesome but my NeoGeo Pocket Color just makes me mad at times(why didnt they put a lighted display in)???!!!

Another one,Wonder Swan,what were they thinking,thank God the DS and PSP got the message and did it right,# 1 now!
