The vibram five fingers or VFF have their benefits and drawbacks ;)

Here's what I have learned from our love hate relationship...

  • Vibram shoes only have one shortcomming: the shoe is tight with the achilles heel

The way to do something abou this, is to make a cut with a scizzors, in the precise middle of where the shoe touches the achilles heel, opening/back. Just one cut will do nicely.

This way, you'll land on the foreside of the foot and it's like walking on your barefoot again..oh and they stink, but, regardless of this fact, it's a perfect invention, allmost too good!

  • @huibruben can u make a video in reply shoeing how to cut? or post a photo to my wall on fb?

  • Can I run with you? :D

  • why would you run barefoot. not criticizing just asking.

  • You're hot. And so is your voice.

  • @markolovesjulie

the difference between cavemen and modern humans is our minds. the average caveman was most certainly more capable in strength/running, compared to average, modern-day humans. so many fatties in america.

i know, weak argument. point is, going barefoot/ using these shoes makes your muscles work harder. you don't have that "support" on your feet when wearing vibram fivefingers. less support=more work.

  • We are not cavemen anymore. Try wearing shoes!

  • Love barefoot running. Me and some friends use to have a competition on who could yell ouch the least over say a 1km distance of gravel road. Great fun!

  • I'm using the VFF for almost 3months in a row for daily use and no problem here! You get used to all of the marbles, stones and what not! Hot weather & Hot asphalt is no problem with VFF too

  • @shadow0fth3night Same thing happened to me and my friend we got ankle pain and eventually injured from running with the Nike Frees to much. I dont why and it ruined my first race.
